Flower Queen (AR Experience)

Augmented Reality | Generative AI + Image Tracking | 2025
Overview
This project was a personal gift for my wife’s birthday, created using AI tools and AR to transform a single image into an immersive experience. Two of the things she loves most are the color pink and flowers, so I used those elements to create a visual love letter — something both fashion-forward and emotionally grounded in the way nature and beauty intertwine.
While it started as a tribute, it evolved into a concept exploring how nature can shape fashion and how storytelling can emerge from even the simplest still image.
Process + Tools
• Built in Unity using the Imagine WebAR framework
• Used image tracking to anchor the experience to a printed portrait
• No 3D model was used — instead, I placed a 3D particle emitter in the scene, which generated falling pink flower petals in real time
• Video animation was created with Kling AI, using a still image of my wife wearing a rose-covered dress
• Audio: The experience plays “You Are So Beautiful” as it begins
• Tech Assist: Used Cursor AI to help debug and optimize the scene
• Deployment: Hosted on Firebase after running into wake-up issues with Netlify; shared via QR code for mobile access
Experience Highlights
When the experience is triggered, the image comes to life — the flower dress begins to move in subtle animation, and petals begin falling gently across the screen. There’s no UI, just pure visual poetry.
Her reaction? She loved it. And honestly, that’s what mattered most.
This piece reminded me that sometimes the most powerful stories come from the simplest ideas, brought to life through a mix of love, craft, and emerging tech.
